Imagine stepping onto a custom-built floating barge moored just off the Sausalito waterfront. Two traditional Finnish-style saunas (each seating up to 6 people, maintained at a toasty 190 °F with steam “löyly”) greet you—and beyond them, the serene expanse of Richardson Bay invites you for a plunge. That’s Fjord, a new wellness destination combining Nordic ritual, coastal scenery, and community connection.

Co‑created by Marin residents Alex Yenni and Gabe Turner, Fjord is engineered from reclaimed redwood and repurposed shipping containers, including materials from an America’s Cup wave attenuator—resulting in a thoughtful design that honors Sausalito’s maritime heritage. (SFGATE)

What It Offers
Drop‑In Sessions – Group sauna experience shared between two saunas (max 8 guests). Includes changing time and cooldown:
Weekdays (8 am–2 pm) and Weekends (8 am–Noon), 2‑hour sessions.
$45 per person.
5‑Pack Drop‑In Pass – Good for five individual entries (90‑minute weekend sessions); can be used by different people.
$210 total (≈ $42/session), valid for 1 year. Coming soon.
10‑Pack Drop‑In Pass – Similar to above, 90‑minute weekend sessions.
$380 total (≈ $38/session), valid 1 year. Coming soon.
Private Sessions – Reserve an entire sauna and lounge area for up to 6 guests:
Available weekdays 4–8 pm, weekends 12 pm–8 pm, 2‑hour blocks.
$240 per session.
5‑Pack Private Sessions – Weekday-only, same group or mix. $1,000 total (≈ $200/session), valid 1 year. Coming soon. t
Platform Buy‑Out (Event Rental) – Full barge booking for up to 16 people (typically around 12), custom coordination with refreshments and towels:
Half‑day (4 hrs): $2,000
Full‑day: $5,000. Contact for scheduling and event planning.
